(More content to follow)
We first drove up to Bryce NP, a surreal canyon packed with Hoodoos:

We then drove 2 hours south – one hour of which was spent on an 8-mile dirt road from hell. JH preferred to call it “good fun”. Destination: the Wire Pass & Buckskin Gulch. We hoped to find some remote & empty slot canyons there and were not disappointed. We were the only car on the parking lot (which was a bit scary when the car malfunctioned a bit trying to drive back out) and saw 2 other people total hike the entire area.

We’ve got company (coyote, mountain lion & desert hare tracks were everywhere – we saw the hare & heard coyotes)
